Midnight Dice, Hypnotized, sounds like the best kind of 80s female led Metal. Fast, with great Riffs, and powerful vocals. Midnight Dice come around after the break up of Satan’s Hallow. I liked that band also, so happy to see new music from some of them. Mandy Martillo has a great voice and the guitar and drum work really work well together to bring back that old school Heavy Metal.
These songs really could have been on the radio if it was 1986. It’s kind of a shame how popular music just kind of died. Or at least my interest in it is gone. I’m probably just too old for the pop stuff, but at least people are still making amazing work that falls into the kind of music I want to listen to. I keep saying it, but I sure hope this pandemic ends soon so we can have proper concerts again and I can go see some of these bands I like so much.
Midnight Dice also released a self-titled EP with three more rocking songs. The group formed in 2017 shortly after Satan’s Hallow broke up and released this in March 2019. Hypnotized came out in June 2020. Not too bad. I would not be upset if they released another album of material this good every year, year and a half. It’ll be on my watch list.
