Cryptic Shift, Beyond the Celestial Realms, is another Astrodeath Metal album from the same group that I liked in an earlier post. This one was released in 2016 and shows a lot of the same type of ideas they would really perfect with Visitations from Enceladus. Its a great hard and fast album that combines fast Death Metal with an otherworldly vibe that changes how the music appears.
The title song has an almost hardcore sound to it, like it’s less Metal and more Punk. It’s still Metal, but there’s an attitude that I like that goes beyond traditional Death Metal.
Cosmic Dreams is a single they released. In between this album and their newest album. All of the music has this great mixing of Death Metal and strange sounds that make it seem like The Thing From Another World.
